Handcrafted Ornaments & Displaying Them

No Tree this year!
Instead, I had a box of these vintage, silver Christmas tree stems,
still in their individual wrappers! I decided to add them all to this
white painted metal bucket, put a white tulle bow around it and voilá!

Here's an up-close picture of the ornaments
my Mom made... in all the perfect colors!

The cute snow men (and women) with wool hats and scarves,
hand painted and antiqued. I love these!! This one's my favorite in pink!

Here are some of my mosaic ornaments, they are
attached to wooden shapes you find in the craft store.

One of my pine cone ornaments, with greenery and little pink balls.

Flower pot ornaments with greenery, white balls and some floral pieces.
These would look cute painted white and distressed for a more shabby look!

I also took some branches from outside, spray painted them white
and hung them in the windows with ornaments hanging from them!

More branches with ornaments hanging above the
ceramic lit tree that my Grandmother had for so many years!

The hand painted bird houses my Mom made,
complete with a snowy rooftop and wreath!

I also took large shutters, leaned them up against the wall with
white lights behind and more ornaments hanging from the them.
My Mom made these cute little sleds!

Of course we've all seen clear glass containers filled with Christmas balls!

We had this old wooden drawer with two compartments, perfect for
two little artificial trees, surrounded in white tulle, to look like snow!

The drawer still had the old labels on the sides!

Hopefully you found some inspiration in these ideas!
